Childminding is a regulated profession in Scotland. Here is the registration, training and insurance that sits behind my service.
Care Inspectorate registered
Registered and regularly inspected as a childminding service, approved to care for children aged 6 months to 16 years.
PVG scheme membership
Protecting Vulnerable Groups checked, and every adult living in the house is fully PVG disclosure checked.
Paediatric first aid
Current paediatric first aid certification, refreshed on the required cycle, covering infants and children.
SCMA membership
Member of the Scottish Childminding Association, with access to ongoing best-practice guidance and support.
Child protection training
Safeguarding and child protection training kept up to date, alongside food hygiene and continuous professional learning.
Insurance in place
Public Liability Insurance and business car insurance that allows me to transport children safely, including school runs.
Certificates on request
Copies of my registration certificate, insurance documents, PVG confirmation and training certificates are available to view at any time — just ask during your visit.
